Watch Talklio in 45 seconds
This 45-second video is a real recording of Talklio on a phone. You'll see someone make a private space, share one link, chat with a friend, swap a photo and a reaction, take a voice call, and see how every message carries a 24-hour countdown.
Nothing in this video is mocked up. It's a single real recording of Talklio running on a phone screen, with a friend on another device sending the replies. Tap a chapter to jump straight to that part.
What you'll see
- Making a private space (0:03). Maya adds her name, picks a password with the dice button, and adds two friends, Sam and Theo. There's no phone number, email or account involved.
- Sharing the link (0:07). Talklio creates one private link and an invite for each person. The part of the link after the # is the encryption key, so it's hidden in the video.
- Chatting privately (0:12). Sam joins with his password and sends a message. It shows up in Maya's inbox, and they chat in their own private thread. Theo can't see any of it.
- Photos and reactions (0:21). Sam sends a photo with a caption. Maya long-presses it and reacts with a heart. Photos are encrypted on the phone before they're sent.
- Voice and video calls (0:26). Sam rings Maya. The call screen appears, she answers, and the call connects device to device, encrypted the whole way. When it ends, a call record drops into the chat.
- Everything disappears (0:37). Every message carries a small hourglass countdown. After 24 hours, messages, photos and call records are deleted for good. The space itself closes after 30 days.
